The 5th Boeing 737-800 has been added with the fleet of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
The number of aircrafts of Biman now stands at 14 after adding this 5th Boeing.The new aircraft (Boeing 737-800) landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital at 3:45am on Thursday.
According to Public Relations Department of Biman, Bangladesh has collected the aircraft from ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Company of Kuwait.
Sources said the 6th Boeing 737-800 will be added with the fleet of Biman in the next month. Besides, two more aircrafts (Boeing 787 Dreamliner) will be purchased in the next July and September with own financing.
