Primary teacher recruitment test: 29 held over ‘question leak’

At least 29 persons have been arrested for their reported involvement in leaking question paper of primary teacher recruitment test.

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested them from Kalaroa upazila headquarters of Satkhira on Friday morning.

Eighteen of them are students and eight are their guardians and two are members of a fraud gang.

Rab-6 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman said: "Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-6 conducted a drive at Sonali Super Market this morning and picked up the 29 persons."

The examinees thronged the building on Thursday night to get the question paper and its solution from the members of the gang.

The gang members assured them of providing the questions and answers through mobile phone in exchange for money, he said.
