Former state minister for home affairs Dr Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir highly appreciated the role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for introducing the pension fund in the proposed budget for 2019-20 fiscal year.
He also praised the present government’s 'check and balanced system' in the proposed budget reflecting the national income and expenditure of the country.Dr Mohiuddin came up with the statements while addressing a budget reviewing round-table conference organized by Dr Wajed Research and Training Institute of Begum Rokeya University and Holistic Integration and Lim Global Consulting Limited at the Academy for Planning and Development in the capital yesterday (Sunday).
He said the budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year will help the dream of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina come true.
Dr Mohammad Mohiuddin of the Management Department of Dhaka University presented the keynote paper at the conference.
Begum Rokeya University Vice Chancellor Dr Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah delivered the welcome speech at the conference highlighting the role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in introducing pension fund for all.
Moderated by Begum Rokeya University teacher Kazi Newas Mustafa, the meeting was addressed among other by Bangladesh University of Professionals Pro Vice Chancellor Dr M Abul Kashem Majumder, Dhaka University Professor Zareen Ferdous and Jahangirnagar University teacher Dr Monjurul Hasan.
