Promising high returns in line with the new laws and further opening up policies, a high-level Chinese official has invited investors from Bangladesh to China.
“Bangladeshi businesses and entrepreneurs are welcomed to invest in different economic sectors of China,” said Mao Jianron, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Xianyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Shaanxi province.“We are providing profitable policies to global enterprises and Bangladeshis can invest in our different sectors including medical and electronic information industries,” he added.
The deputy director made the remarks in an interview with the Daily Sun at his office in the capital of the province on Wednesday.
The aims of the reform and opening up policies are to attract more international investments, he continued.
The deputy director further shared China is reducing the list of negative business and management to lure more foreign investments as part of the opening up policies.
“Through environment conducive for commerce and business, we are trying to be more connected to the world,” the Chinese official stated.
Mao continued saying that China follows the rules of the World Bank and treats domestic and foreign enterprises in an equal footing.“We have dedicated professionals to provide services to foreign entrepreneurs throughout the entire process to facilitate investment in our high-tech zone,” he assured.
Prior to the interview, the deputy director spoke at the press meeting with a delegation of foreign journalists of the Belt and Road countries at the high-tech zone.
More than 30 foreign journalists from the Belt and Road countries of Asia and The Pacific, and Central America took part in the meeting.
The journalists are now on a week-long trip to Shaanxi as part of the programme titled ‘Witness the 70-year Evolution of China’s Shaanxi,’ – Journalists from the Belt and Road Countries Convene.
Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee Network Office, Shaanxi Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Xi'an Municipal Party Committee Network Office, Xi'an Yanta District Party Committee, and Xi'an People's Government have jointly arranged the programme.
Among others, Zang Julin, Board Chairman of CRI Online also delivered a speech at the meeting.
In his speech, Zang said this visit will help journalists know more about the vitality of the industrial development zone in the fields of science, technology, and the image of a modernised city.
He expected that through all-around report the journalists will show the world charm of the industrial development zone.
