New Zealand opener Martin Guptill fell down after scoring 19 off 18 balls against against England in the World Cup final at Lord's on Sunday.

Chris Woakes gets the first wicket of the World Cup final, with a lovely delivery that went off the seam in the opposite direction to how he usually swings it.

New Zealand scored 31 for one after nine overs of the game. Henry Nicholls and Kane Williamson were on the crease scoring 10 and 0 runs respectivly. 

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bat against England in the World Cup final at Lord's on Sunday.

Both sides were bidding to be crowned world champions for the first time.

England lost the 1979, 1987 and 1992 finals, while this is New Zealand's second successive appearance in the showpiece match after they finished runners-up to Australia in 2015.
