Talent based quiz show ‘Mastermind Family Bangladesh’ presented by Square Food and Beverages Limited’s instant noodles brand ‘Chopstick’, will air on Duronto Television from 13 October. The show is based on the format of a popular quiz show of BBC. The viewers can enjoy this family show every week from Sunday to Thursday at 8pm. This exciting news was announced on 3 October at a press conference which took place at Hotel Sarina. Square Food and Beverage Limited’s Head of Marketing Mr. Imtiaz Feroze, Duronto Television’s Director Avijit Chowdhury, Head of Program Mohammad Ali Haider and Head of Marketing Amzad Hossain Arju along with higher Officials of Square Food and Beverages Limited Duronto Television and representatives of various media outlets were present at the press conference.
Square Food and Beverages Limited’s Head of Marketing Mr. Imtiaz Feroze gave a speech at the conference who mentioned ‘Mastermind Family Bangladesh’ as an impressive initiative that will help the children with their brain development and provide them with entertainment appropriate for a good childhood. He then explained how Chopstick’s brand promise of ‘ensuring healthy and beautiful childhood’ matches with the program theme of ‘Mastermind Family Bangladesh’. Just like ‘Chopstick’ is free from harmful ingredients like tasting salt or MSGs, the brand is determined to keep only the good things in our children’s lives. At the same time, Chopstick is ever engaged in year-long activities to help with children’s physical and mental and their brain development. He hoped to continue this collaboration in the upcoming years as well. Duronto Television’s Head of Program Mr. Mohammad Ali Haider expressed his gratitude towards everyone who worked with show. He mentioned how Duronto TV’s initiative to boroadcast such an interesting family quiz show on screen will bring a unique take on children’s entertainment in Bangladesh.‘Mastermind’ quiz competition was first broadcasted in UK in 1972. The format and other unique style of the show made the program instantly popular among the UK and global viewers. For next 50 years, this show was adapted and broadcasted in USA, Australia, New Zealand, India, Ireland, Russia, Turkey and many countries. ‘Mastermind Family Bangladesh’ is the latest addition.
In this competition, a 8-12 years old will lead his/her family consisting of 5 members. In this family, along with parents and relatives at least two children aged 8-12 will be in the team. With various quizzes, their knowledge, intelligence and IQ will be highlighted on the ‘Mastermind Family Bangladesh’ stage. 64 families were selected for the main show from countrywide auditions. After head-to-head competition in 65 episodes, which will be filled with surprises and new challenges, country’s first ‘Mastermind Family’ will be revealed. First, Second and Third place winners will win 1 brand new car, 2 lacs Taka and 1 lac Taka respectively. The show has been directed by Sumona Siddiki. Nobonita Chowdhury was the host of the show.
