Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University will host orientation programme for newly admitted students of the 17th batch (2022-23 session) on Tuesday (September 5).

The event will be held at the Gahi Sammyar Gaan Mancha of the university at 11:00 am.

Nazrul University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Soumitra Sekhar will preside over the programme while renowned writer and academic Dr Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal will be present as the chief guest.

Freedom fighter Nasiruddin Yousuff Bachchu, founder of Dhaka Theatre and Bangladesh Gram Theatre and most renowned cultural personalities in our country, will be present as the orientation speaker in the orientation ceremony.

Prof Dr Soumitra Sekhar congratulated the newly admitted students and welcomed them to the progress of education, research and development.
