The second edition of the South Asian Lawyers Cricket Cup 2024 began with the six teams at the Bashundhara Sports City Cricket Ground on Friday. 

Bangladesh Lawyrers’ Cricket in collaboration with T Sports and ACE is organising the international meet.

Former Chief Justice of Bangladesh Syed Mahmud Hossain inaugurated the event at the Westin Dhaka here on 19 December. 

Four teams from Bangladesh -- Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi , Sylhet and two teams from Pakistan -- Lahore & Karachi are taking part in the competition.  

The final will be held on 26 December at the same venue.

Meanwhile, the tournament will resume with two matches on Monday at 9:00 am (BST) and 4:30 pm (BST) respectively.
