Bangladesh is set to get its first deep sea port at Matarbari in Moheshkhali upazila, Cox’s Bazar, as the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) signs an agreement with Japanese firm Penta-Ocean Construction on Tuesday. The signing ceremony, held at Hotel Le Méridien in Dhaka, is attended by Shipping Adviser Brig Gen (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain as chief guest, ICHIGUCHI Tomohide, chief representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and others.
