Rajya Sabha member Harsh Vardhan Shringla has described the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in West Bengal as “resounding and historic,” attributing the outcome to public demand for change and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
In a Facebook post, Shringla said the election
result reflects the people’s aspiration for transformation in the state, adding
that it marks the beginning of a period of positive change.
He expressed hope for swift implementation of the
party’s Sankalp Patra (election manifesto) to bring about the much-anticipated
“parivartan” (change) in West Bengal.
He also congratulated party workers across the state
for their efforts, praising their dedication and tireless work in securing the
victory. According to Shringla, the outcome represents not only a mandate from
the people of West Bengal but also a broader endorsement from the people of
India in favour of the BJP and its leadership.
The BJP leader described the result as a strong call
for change and a decisive mandate for Prime Minister Modi and the party going
forward.
