1. Paro


Paro valley in Bhutan is an extension of the confluence of Paro Chhu and Wang Chu rivers at Chuzom. One of the widest valleys in Bhutan, this quaint region is beautifully covered in fertile rice fields.


2. Thimphu


Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan, which is situated in the western central part of the country and serves as an administrative town. This largest city of Bhutan is spread out in northern southern direction.


3. Dochula Pass


Dochula pass lies on the way to Punakha, about 30 km away from Thimpu. It is popular amongst tourists for offering the magnificent panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges. This mountain pass is famous for 108 chortens.


4. Haa Valley


Also known as the hidden land of rice valley, Haa is the smallest district of Bhutan located towards the southern western zone of Paro. This quaint town is amongst one of the most stunning and remotest areas in Bhutan.


5. Phobjikha Valley


Phobjikha is a U-shaped valley, which is surrounded by the irregular formation of mountains carved by the glacial action. It is also known as the Gangteng Valley, named after the Gangteng Monastery in central Bhutan.
