Shakib Al Hasan gave Bangladesh the crucial breakthrough during the last session of day-4 when he sent back Dimuth Karunaratne for 126 to leave the hosts at 217 for 7 in 81.3 overs during the second Test of the series at Colombo’s P Sara Oval on Saturday.
Sri Lanka go into the tea break at 199/6 from 69 overs. Karunaratne on 110 runs and has Perera for company on 2.Hosts lead by 70 runs.
Sri Lanka added 62 runs in that session with five wickets lost.
Dimuth Karunaratne and Dilruwan Perera were on batting, scoring 110 off 206 balls and 2 runs off 27 balls respectively.
Earlier, wonder boy of Bangladesh cricket Mustafizur Rahman strikes triple at the 46th, 51st and 55th overs of Sri Lankan 2nd innings and send Mendis, Dinesh and de Silva back to the pavilion on Day-4 of the 2nd match of Joy Bangla Cup series at P Sara Oval, Colombo on Saturday.
