A dance performance of Gaudiya Nritya by Ayan Mukherjee and Satabdi Acharyya from India will be held at Bangladesh National Museum in the capital on Tuesday.
Indira Gandhi Culture Centre of Dhaka will organise the function that will be held at Kobi Sufia Kamal Auditorium around 6:30pm, said a press release.
Ayan Mukherjee performed Gaudiya Nrityain in many countries, including Singapore, USA, Russia and Bangladesh.
Ayan received several awards, including Dr Manmohan Ghosh gold medal from Rabindra Bharati University and North American Bengal Conference, Senior National Scholarship on Gaudiya Nritya from Ministry of Culture in India.
On the other hand, Shatabdi Acharya learnt dance forms from different renowned dancers. She performed in Natyanjali Dance Festival, Chidambaram, Nazrul Janmotsav, Nazrul Mela, Dance Ballet at Purbashree Auditorium of EZCC and many places in India and Bangladesh.
Satabdi received Pandit Subhankar Award by Gaudiya Nritya Prasar Samity in 2009, West Bengal State Music Academy award and so on. She is the founder of the dance institution ‘Bikramshila’.
