Riaz teams up with Mehazabien again

Celebrated actor Riaz has paired up with renowned model-actress Mehazabien Chowdhury again in a play styled Kan Pete Roi.

 

The duo recently stood before camera for the play directed by Matia Banu Shuku at different shooting locations across the city.

 

The national award-winning actor Riaz has played Farhan while Mehazabien has essayed the role of Jara in the play.

 

Riaz said, “The storyline of the play is to my liking, that’s why I have worked in it and hope the viewers will also enjoy my work.”

 

“Riaz Bhai is an upper-class and very talented actor, but he is so cooperative and professional on the set. I am very optimistic about the play,” said Mehazabien.

 

Matia Banu Shuku said, “The play is scheduled to be aired on ATN Bangla at 10.55pm on
January 19.”

 

Riaz Uddin Ahamed Siddique, commonly known as Riaz, is a Bangladeshi film actor-producer.

 

He has appeared in more than 100 Bangla films in genres ranging from romance to action to comedies.

 

He is the recipient of numerous awards, including three National Film Awards and seven Meril Prothom Alo Awards.

 

Riaz first appeared onscreen as a supporting role in Dewan Nazrul's social action drama Banglar Nayok in 1995.

 

He began a full-time career in film with a leading role in the highly successful romantic drama Praner Cheye Priyo in 1997.

 

In 2005, Riaz worked with Bollywood actress Susmita Sen for Mahesh Manjrekar's film It Was Raining That Night.

 

His last movie Lovey Paap Paapey Mrityu was released on 14 February 2014, directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan.

 

Mehazabien Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi actress and model who rose to national prominence after winning Lux Channel i Superstar, a Bangladeshi beauty pageant, in 2009.

 

Chittagong-born beauty queen relocated to the Arabian Peninsula with her parents, attending Indian School, Sohar followed by Indian School, Muscat of Oman.

 

While in the Middle East, she did print modelling for a short time. In 2007, Chowdhury returned to Bangladesh.

 

As a result of winning the beauty pageant in 2009, Chowdhury secured acting contracts for television dramas while increasing her involvement in modelling.

 

Mehazabien made her debut in television trough acting in Iftekhar Ahmed's drama, Tumo Thako Shindhu Parey, followed by roles in television dramas Call Center and Odhora.
