Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Greater Chattogram branch has set up a free assistance cell to help students apply online for admission to Class XI.
The initiative aims to support students during the first phase of the online admission process, which has begun in line with education board guidelines.
Through the assistance cell, students are receiving free support in filling out online application forms, entering necessary information and completing the application process.
The organisation is also providing financial assistance to students from disadvantaged backgrounds to cover the costs associated with online applications.
The assistance programme will continue until 10 September for the convenience of students.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho Greater Chattogram President SM A Jewel said the online application process was particularly important for students seeking admission to Class XI, but many face difficulties because of financial constraints or a lack of knowledge about the online process.
“We have taken this initiative to reduce their difficulties. We want to ensure that no student misses the opportunity to enrol in Class XI because of financial constraints or technical difficulties,” he said.
Other members of Shuvosangho said standing beside students at this important stage of their academic lives was part of their social responsibility.
“Alongside free application assistance, we are also providing financial support where necessary. This service will continue until 10 September,” they said.
Students seeking admission to Class XI can visit the assistance cell within the stipulated period to receive the necessary support.
SM A Jewel, Naorin Munira Anika, Umm-e Sultana, Dina Chowdhury, Maria Akter, Prema Dey, Sadia Akter, Bakul, Ainul Mustafa, Robin and Dipti Dewanjish, among others, were present during the assistance programme.
