A 15-day long solo painting exhibition titled 'Canvas Chronicles' by artist Saima M. Khan began at Galerie Zoom of Alliance Francaise de Dhaka on Saturday, reports UNB.

Chairman of Public Administration department of University of Dhaka Dr Akhter Hossain was present during its inauguration as the chief guest while Director of Fine Arts department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy artist Muniruzzaman attended the opening ceremony as the special guest.

She embodies many seamlessly interlaced micro- moments within the colours and nuances to culminate into a contented story that the observer can place himself.

Saima M. Khan, a student of Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, is a passionate painter who dreams of leaving a mark in the field of arts. She also happens to be an aspiring writer whose works have appeared in the issues of Six Seasons Review, published by Bengal Foundation.
